Crime Scene Barbie started when I found one of my daughter’s Barbie dolls abandoned in out backyard. She had moved past playing with dolls and the poor thing had been left to languish. Seemed like a perfect subject for some photography.

Over the past few years she has moved around the yard and gotten a new hairdo (I don’t remember what the source of that inspiration was.) She’s been through a lot in that time. Rain, ice, hail, heat, sparklers and bottle rockets. I realized recently that I should have documented this all much better than I had (even though there a lot of photos of her.) As a result, she has become a 365 project for me. Hopefully I’ll stick with it and share the result here.
